Pickup Policy
Early Pickups: Please communicate ahead of time if you need to reschedule to an earlier slot.
Late Pickups: Life happens! If you’re running more than 15 minutes behind, your order will be placed in a swanky mint green patio cooler designated for porch pickups. Just be aware that a cooler can only protect your items for so long against outdoor elements, and extended exposure may affect the quality of certain items.
Takes the Cake is not responsible for items not picked up at the agreed upon time.
For two-tier cakes, or in the event of extreme inclement weather where porch pickup is not advisable, the client will need to reschedule their pickup time or make alternate arrangements.
Please keep in mind that until Chassidy can clone herself, Takes the Cake may not be available beyond your scheduled pickup time, especially during peak wedding season.
No Show: In the event of a no show, where the customer fails to pick up their order within the day and does not communicate any changes or delays, no refunds will be given. We reserve the right to donate the item. Our products contain no preservatives,, we cannot guarantee the quality of items left unattended for an extended period.
Cancellation Policy
Two-Tier Cake Orders:
Refunds, or rescheduling are available for orders canceled seven or more days in advance of pickup. Please note a 5% cancellation fee will be applied to refunds only.
Orders canceled within six days of pickup are not eligible for refunds or reschedules
One-Tier Cakes, Toppers, and Other Dessert Orders:
Refunds or rescheduling are available for orders canceled seven or more days in advance of pickup, Refunds are subject to a 5% cancellation fee.
Rescheduling is available for orders canceled four to six days in advance of pickup.
Orders canceled within 72 hours of pickup are not eligible for refunds, or reschedules.
